St. Vincent and the Grenadines like some of its OECS neighbours is implementing the Caribean Primary Exit Assessment come 2014. It is an examination for the etermal body CXC and consist of two comp[onents:
- Internal Assessment -Book report, a project, journal and teacher made test, etc
- External Assessment - 50 multiple items in Mathematics, Language arts and Science Teacher in Grade 5 and one teacher from the Grade 6 were at a two - day workshop where they were oriented as to what is expected and they were suppose to return to their classroom at the end of the two days and start implimenting the CPEA.
You can get more on this by visiting CXC.org and browsing via the exam tab.
Is it a wothwhile move of the MOE in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to it at the Grade 5 level now, taking into consideration that they will be doing the exam for the first in 2014?
